Year Five — October 2026

Every Step
Gets Us Closer.

What started as three friends and a hike has grown into a community raising money, having fun, and fighting Parkinson's Disease — one peak at a time.

How Three Friends Started a Movement

In 2022, Will, Sam, and Pete laced up their boots and set out to do something about the disease affecting their families. What started as one hike and a fundraising page has turned into five years of summits, polar plunges, fitness challenges, and a whole lot of community.

We've hiked hundreds of miles, raised over $85,000 for Parkinson's research, and built something that keeps growing. This year we made it official with our own 501(c)(3) — because we're just getting started.

Hike With Us

Grab your boots and hit the trail with us. Whether you knock out one summit or all five, you're part of the team. We picked spots close to DC and Richmond so more people can make it — and there's always a celebration at the end.

Year Five: The Summit Challenge

We're heading back to the Blue Ridge for our biggest day yet — 5 summits in 12 hours, covering anywhere from 7 to 25 miles. Come for one lap or go all in. Either way, there's a brewery waiting at the finish line.

The Founder's Challenge

For every $5,000 raised, we swap the easy trail for Raven's Rock — 5x the distance and double the elevation. You fund it, we suffer it.

Why We Do This

Parkinson's Disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance, and everyday life. There's no cure yet — but research is gaining ground, and every dollar raised by communities like ours helps push it forward.
